السيوطي:٢٢١٣a –

"إذا عَمِلَ أحدُكُمْ عَمَلًا فْليُتْقِنه، فإِنَّه مِمَّا يُسَلِّي بنفسِ المُصابِ" .  

(يعني والله تعالى أعلم أنه إذا أتقن عمله، ثم أصيب بفقده فإِنه يتسلى بإِتقانه كمن بنى بناء وأتقنه، ثم هُدم بعد ذلك فإِنه يقول: لم يحصل هدمه بسببى لأنى أتقنته، وإنما هدم من الله تعالى فيتسلى بذلك، بخلاف من قصَّر فيه فإنه يقول: لو أتقنته لم يهدم، وقس على ذلك)
