"مَنِ اطَّلَعَ مِنْ قُتْرَه إِلَى قَوْمٍ فَفُقِئَتْ عَينُهُ فَهى هَدَر".
The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone peeps into the house of a people without their permission and he knocks out his eye, no responsibility is incurred for his eye. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5172)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ اطَّلَعَ فِي دَارِ قَوْمٍ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِمْ فَفُقِئَتْ عَيْنُهُ هُدِرَتْ
ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ قَوْلَهُ ﷺ «مَا كَانَ عَلَيْكَ جُنَاحٌ» أَرَادَ بِهِ نَفْيَ الْقِصَاصِ وَالدِّيَةِ
"Whoever looks into a house without the permission of the occupants and they put out his eye, he has no right to blood money or retaliation." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4860)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ اطَّلَعَ إِلَى دَارِ قَوْمٍ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِهِمْ فَفَقَؤُوا عَيْنَهُ فَلَا دِيَةَ وَلَا قِصَاصَ»
[AI] On the authority of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said, "Whoever peeks from behind a curtain at a people, his eye will be gouged out."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ اطَّلَعَ مِنْ سُتْرَةٍ إِلَى قَوْمٍ فَفُقِئَتْ عَيْنُهُ فَهِي هَدْرٌ»
أَبُو حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever looks at a group of people with a squinting eye, then his eye is babbling." Hafs said, "And 'qatarah' means a squinting eye."
