"عَنْ عُمَرَ أن تميمًا الدارىَّ سأل عمرَ بنَ الخطاب عن ركوبِ البحرِ فأمره بتقصيرِ الصلاةِ، قال: يقولُ الله: {هُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ} ".
