"عَنْ عمر في قوله: {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا} قال: استقاموا لله بطاعته ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرُوغُوا رَوَغَانَ الثَّعْلَبِ".  

[ص] سعيد بن منصور وابن المبارك، [حم] أحمد في الزهد، وعبد بن حميد، والحكم، وابن المنذر، ورسته في الإيمان، والصابونى في المائتين

[Machine] And he addresses the people from the pulpit, "Indeed, those who say, 'Our Lord is Allah' and then remain steadfast, the angels will descend upon them." [Quran 41:30] So he said, "Remain steadfast and by Allah, in the obedience of Allah, and then they did not stray like the fox strays."
