"عَنْ الأَسْوَدِ قَالَ: كَانَ عُمَرُ إِذَا قَدِمَ عَلَيْهِ الْوُفُودُ سَأَلَهُمْ عَنْ أَمِيرِهِمْ: أَيَعُودُ الْمَرِيضَ؟ أَيُجيبُ الْعَبْدَ؟ كَيْفَ صَنِيعُهُ؟ مَنْ يَقُومُ عَلَى بَابِهِ؟ فإِنْ قَالُوا لخصلة منها: لا - عزله".
