السيوطي:٢-٢٧٣٣b –

"عن جرير بن عثمان الرحبى أن معاوية بن عياض بن غَطيف أتى عمر ابن الخطاب وعليه قَباءٌ وخفافٌ رقيقان؛ فأنكر ذلك عليه، قال ما هذا؟ قال: يا أمير المؤمنين أما القباء فإن الرجل ليَشُدُّه عليه فيضُم ثيابَه، وأما الخفاف الرقاق فإنها أثبت في الركب" .
