[Machine] Two festivals coincided during the time of Ibn al-Zubayr, so he delayed going out until the day was well advanced. Then he went out, delivered a long sermon, came down, and prayed two rak'ahs. He did not lead the people in the Friday prayer, which some people criticized him for. This was mentioned to Ibn Abbas, who said, "He followed the Sunnah." When this was conveyed to Ibn al-Zubayr, he said, "I saw Umar ibn al-Khattab do this when two festivals coincided during his time."
