suyuti:1915a –

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘When anyone of you bows, let him say in his bowing: “Subhana Rabbiyal-‘Azim (Glory is to my Lord, the Most Great)” three times; if he does that his bowing will be complete. And when anyone of you prostrates, let him say in his prostration, ‘Subhana Rabbiyal-A’la (Glory if to my Lord, the Most High)” three times; if he does that, his prostration will be complete, and that is the minimum.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 890)   

السيوطي:١٩١٥a –

"إِذَا ركع أحدُكُمْ فليُقلْ في رُكوعُه: سبحانَ ربِّى الْعَظيم، ثلاثًا،

فإِذا فعلَ ذلكَ فقد تمَّ (ركوعُه، وذلك أدناه، وإِذا سَجَدَ فليقلْ في سجوده: سبحانَ ربى الأعلى، ثلاثًا، فإِذا فعل ذلك فقد تمَّ) سجودُه، وذلك أدناه.

The Prophet ﷺ said: When one of you bows, he should say three time,:"Glory be to my mighty Lord," and when he prostrates, he should say: "Glory be to my most high Lord" three times. This is the minimum number. Abu Dawud said: The chain of this tradition is broken. The narrator 'Awn did not see 'Abd Allah (b. Mas'ud).  

أبو داود:٨٨٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الأَهْوَازِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْهُذَلِيِّ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

And that is the least of it. And when he prostrates and says while prostrating: (Subhana Rabbiyal A'la) 'Glorious is my Lord the Most High' three times, then he has completed his prostrations, and that is the least of it.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you bows down in prayer, he should say, 'Subhan Rabbiyal Adheem' (Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great) three times, for his bowing is complete and that is the least. And when he prostrates, he should say, 'Subhan Rabbiyal A'la' (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High) three times, for his prostration is complete and that is the least." This is narrated by 'Awn ibn Abdullah, who did not reach Abdullah ibn Mas'ud.  

البيهقي:٢٥٥٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمُزَكِّي ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أنبأ ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَوْنٍ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
