السيوطي:١٩٠٥٥a –

"مَا عَمِلَ آدَمِيٌّ عَمَلًا أنجَى لَهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ اللهِ مِنْ ذِكرِ اللهِ، قَالُوا: ولا

الجهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ؟ ، قال: ولا الجِهَادُ إلَّا أَنْ تَضرِبَ بِسَيفِكَ حَتَّى يَنْقَطِعَ، ثُمَّ تَضِربَ بِهِ حَتَّى يَنقَطِعَ، ثُمَّ تَضرِبَ بِهِ حتَّى يَنقَطِعَ".
