"مَا شَهِدْتُ حِلْفًا إلا حِلْفَ قُرَيشٍ مِنْ حِلْفِ الْمُطَيِبِين، وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي بهِ حُمْرَ النَّعَمِ، وَإِنِّي (*) كُنْتُ نَقَضْتُهُ".

ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ ثَانٍ يُصَرِّحُ بِصِحَّةِ مَا أَوْمَأْنَا إِلَيْهِ

ibnhibban:4374 – al-Ḥasan b. Sufyān > Muʿallá b. Mahdī > Abū ʿAwānah > ʿUmar b. Abū Salamah from his father > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have not witnessed any oath of the Quraysh except for the oath of the Muttayyibin, and I do not like to have red camels even though I have found them. The Muttayyibin are Hashim, Umayyah, Zahrah, and Makhzum."  

ابن حبّان:٤٣٧٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَا شَهِدْتُ مِنْ حِلْفِ قُرَيْشٍ إِلَّا حِلْفَ الْمُطَيَّبِينَ وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي حُمْرَ النَّعَمِ وَإِنِّي كُنْتُ نَقَضَتْهُ» قَالَ وَالْمُطَيِّبُونَ هَاشِمٌ وَأُمَيَّةُ وَزَهْرَةُ وَمَخْزُومٌ
