Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If I had formerly known what I came to know recently, I would not have driven the Hadi with me and would have finished the state of Ihram along with the people when they finished it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَوِ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِي مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ مَا سُقْتُ الْهَدْىَ وَلَحَلَلْتُ مَعَ النَّاسِ حِينَ حَلُّوا

A’ishah reported the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “If I had known beforehand about my affair what I have come to know later, I would not have brought the sacrificial animals with me. The narrator Muhammad(bin Yahya) said “ I think he(’Uthman bin ‘Umar) said and I would have taken off my ihram with those who have put their ihram after performing ‘Umrah. He said “By this he intended that all the people might have performed equal rites(of Hajj)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَوِ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِي مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ لَمَا سُقْتُ الْهَدْىَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ وَلَحَلَلْتُ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَحَلُّوا مِنَ الْعُمْرَةِ قَالَ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَمْرُ النَّاسِ وَاحِدًا

“If I had known then what I know now, no one would have washed the Prophet ﷺ but his wives.”

لَوْ كُنْتُ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنَ الأَمْرِ مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ مَا غَسَّلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ غَيْرُ نِسَائِهِ

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "If I had foreseen what I know now, I would not have brought the sacrificial animals. And I would have entered into Ihram with those who have done so for Umrah."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَوْ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِي مَااسْتَدْبَرْتُ مَا سُقْتُ الْهَدْيَ وَلَأَحْلَلْتُ مَعَ الَّذِينَ حَلُّوا مِنَ الْعُمْرَةِ

[AI] "If I had received the command, I would not have understood what the Prophet ﷺ washed other than his wives. The scholar, may Allah have mercy on him, said, 'I became eager to know this and one should only be eager to know what is permissible.'"

لَوْ كُنْتُ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ مَا غَسَّلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ غَيْرُ نِسَائِهِ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ فَتَلَهَّفَتْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَلَا يُتَلَهَّفُ إِلَّا عَلَى مَا يَجُوزُ

"قَدْ بَلَغنِى الَّذِي قُلْتمْ، وَإِنِّي لأبَرَّكُمْ وَأَتْقَاكُمْ، وَلَوْلَا الْهَدْى لَحَلَلْت، وَلَوْ اسْتَقْبَلتْ مِنْ أَمْرِى مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ مَا أَهْدَيتُ".
