[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that Prophet David had intense jealousy. Whenever he went out, the doors would be closed and no one would enter his house until he returned. One day, he went out and the house was closed. His wife looked out of the window and saw a man standing in the middle of the house. She asked the people in the house how this man entered, as the house was closed. She swore she would expose David. When David arrived, he saw a man standing in the middle of the house. He asked him who he was, and the man replied, "I am the one who does not fear kings, and no veil can hinder me." David said to him, "You are the Angel of Death, welcome with the command of Allah." David stood still until his soul was taken, and the sun rose upon him. Solomon said to the birds, "Shade David." So the birds shaded him until the earth became dark. Then Solomon said to the birds, "Fold your wings, one wing at a time."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كَانَ دَاوُدُ النَّبِيُّ فِيهِ غَيْرَةٌ شَدِيدَةٌ وَكَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ أُغْلِقَتِ الْأَبْوَابُ فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ أَحَدٌ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ قَالَ فَخَرَجَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَأغُلِّقَتِ الدَّارُ فَأَقْبَلَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ تَطَّلِعُ إِلَى الدَّارِ فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ قَائِمٌ وَسَطَ الدَّارِ فَقَالَتْ لِمَنْ فِي الْبَيْتِ مِنْ أَيْنَ دَخَلَ هَذَا الرَّجُلُ الدَّارَ وَالدَّارُ مُغْلَقَةٌ وَاللهِ لَتُفْتَضَحُنَّ بِدَاوُدَ فَجَاءَ دَاوُدُ فَإِذَا الرَّجُلُ قَائِمٌ وَسَطَ الدَّارِ فَقَالَ لَهُ دَاوُدُ مَنْ أَنْتَ؟ قَالَ أَنَا الَّذِي لَا أَهَابُ الْمُلُوكَ وَلَا يَمْتَنِعُ مِنِّي الْحُجَّابُ فَقَالَ دَاوُدُ أَنْتَ وَاللهِ إِذَنْ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ مَرْحَبًا بِأَمْرِ اللهِ فَرَمَلَ دَاوُدُ مَكَانَهُ حَيْثُ قُبِضَتْ رُوحُهُ حَتَّى فَرَغَ مِنْ شَأْنِهِ وَطَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ لِلطَّيْرِ أَظِلِّي عَلَى دَاوُدَ فَأَظَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الطَّيْرُ حَتَّى أَظْلَمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَرْضُ فَقَالَ لَهَا سُلَيْمَانُ اقْبِضِي جَنَاحًا جَنَاحًا
