السيوطي:١٤٨٥١a –

"سُمِّى (يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ) لأَنَّ فِيهَا طُبعَتْ طِينَةُ أَبِيكَ آدَمَ، وَفِيهَا

الصَّعْقَةُ، وَالْبَعْثَةُ، وَفِيهَا الْبَطْشَةُ، وَفِى آخِرِ ثَلاث سَاعَات مِنْهَا سَاعَةٌ مَنْ دعَا الله فِيهَا اسْتَجَابَ لَهُ".

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was asked, "Why is Friday named as such?" He replied, "Because on it, the clay of your father Adam was shaped, and on it, the lightning, resurrection, and punishment occur. And in the last three hours of the day, there is an hour wherein whoever prays to Allah in it, their prayer will be answered."
