Yahya related to me from Malik from Rabia ibn Abi Abd ar-Rahman that Muhammad ibn Ali ibn al-Husayn said, "Fatima, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ weighed the hair of Hasan and Husayn, and gave away in sadaqa the equivalent weight in silver."

مالك:٢٦-٣ – وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَزَنَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ شَعَرَ حَسَنٍ وَحُسَيْنٍ فَتَصَدَّقَتْ بِزِنَتِهِ فِضَّةً

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded Fatimah and said, "Adorn the hair of Al-Hussein and give as charity its weight in silver, and give the midwife a gift of a sheep for the newborn's 'Aqiqah."

الحاكم:٤٨٢٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَاعِدٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ الْعَلَوِيُّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ
