"زُرِ القبورَ تَذَكَّرْ بها الآخرَةَ, واغْسِلِ المَوْتيَ؛ فَإِنَّ مُعَالَجةَ جسدٍ خاوٍ موعظةٌ بليغةٌ؛ وصلِّ على الجنائز؛ لَعَلَّ ذلك يَحْزُنُك؛ فإِن الحَزينَ في ظلِّ الله يومَ القيامَة يَتَعَرَّضُ كلِّ خَيْرٍ".
[Machine] "To me, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ , visit the graves and remember the Hereafter, and wash the dead, for treating a lifeless body is a profound reminder. Also, offer prayers upon the funeral processions, as that may sadden you. Indeed, on the Day of Judgment, those who are saddened will find solace in the shade of Allah."
لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «زُرِ الْقُبُورَ تَذْكُرْ بِهَا الْآخِرَةَ وَاغْسِلِ الْمَوْتَى فَإِنَّ مُعَالَجَةَ جَسَدٍ خَاوٍ مَوْعِظَةٌ بَلِيغَةٌ وَصَلِّ عَلَى الْجَنَائِزِ لَعَلَّ ذَلِكَ يُحْزِنُكَ فَإِنَّ الْحَزِينَ فِي ظِلِّ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
[Machine] "To me, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ , visit the graves, as it reminds one of the hereafter. Wash the dead, for treating their bodies is a powerful reminder. Pray for the deceased, as it may sadden you, but surely, the one who is saddened in the shade of Allah will encounter all good."
