"I was sent in advance of the Hour, so that I precede it like this precedes this." (Indicating) with his index and middle fingers.  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ بُعِثْتُ فِي نَفَسِ السَّاعَةِ فَسَبَقْتُهَا كَمَا سَبَقَتْ هَذِهِ هَذِهِ لإِصْبُعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "I was sent and the Hour (Judgment Day) like this," and he joined his middle finger and index finger, and he said, "I preceded it (the Hour) as this finger (index finger) preceded the other finger (middle finger)."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ هَكَذَا وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْوُسْطَى وَالسَّبَّابَةِ فَسَبَقْتُهَا كَمَا سَبَقَتْ هَذِهِ هَذِهِ»  

"بُعِثْتُ فِي نفسِ السَّاعَةِ فَسَبَقْتُهَا كمَا سَبَقَتْ هَذه هَذِهِ" لأصْبُعَيه السَّبَّابَةِ، وَالوُسْطَى.
