"الْمؤمِن كالغرِيبِ في الدُّنيا لا يَأنس في عزَّهَا, ولا يَجْزعُ مِنْ ذُلِّهَا، للنَّاسِ حَالٌ مُقْبلُونَ عليه ولَهُ حال، النَّاسُ منهُ في رَاحةٍ وجَسَدُهُ منه في عنَاء".  

[حل] أبى نعيم في الحلية (عن بهْز عن أبيه عن جده)

[Machine] I heard Hassan say, "The believer in this world is like a stranger, who is not disturbed by its humiliation and does not rejoice in its honor in the eyes of people - he has his own status. Direct this curiosity where God has directed it."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٤٧٥حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارٌ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَعْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ «الْمُؤْمِنُ فِي الدُّنْيَا كَالْغَرِيبِ لَا يَجْزَعُ مِنْ ذُلِّهَا وَلَا يَأْنَسُ فِي عِزِّهَا لِلنَّاسِ حَالٌ وَلَهُ حَالٌ وَجِّهُوا هَذِهِ الْفُضُولَ حَيْثُ وَجَّهَهَا اللَّهُ ﷻُّ»
