ahmad:5440 – ʿAffān > ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Muslim > ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the lizard. He replied, "I do not eat it, nor do I declare it forbidden."  

أحمد:٥٤٤٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الضَّبِّ؟ فَقَالَ لَسْتُ آكِلَهُ وَلَا مُحَرِّمَهُ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about locusts. He said: ‘(They are) the most numerous troop of Allah. I neither eat them nor forbid them.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3219)
