The Prophet ﷺ said: Hands are of three types: Allah's hand is the upper one; the bestower's hand is the one near it; the beggar's hand is the lower one. So bestow what is surplus, and do not submit yourself to the demand of your soul.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الأَيْدِي ثَلاَثَةٌ فَيَدُ اللَّهِ الْعُلْيَا وَيَدُ الْمُعْطِي الَّتِي تَلِيهَا وَيَدُ السَّائِلِ السُّفْلَى فَأَعْطِ الْفَضْلَ وَلاَ تَعْجِزْ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There are three hands of Allah: the upper hand of Allah, the giving hand that follows it, and the lower hand of the one who seeks help, until the Day of Resurrection. So, refrain from asking as much as you can."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْأَيْدِي ثَلَاثَةٌ يَدُ اللَّهِ الْعُلْيَا وَيَدُ الْمُعْطِي الَّتِي تَلِيهَا وَيَدُ السَّائِلِ السُّفْلَى إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَاسْتَعِفَّ عَنِ السُّؤَالِ مَا اسْتَطَعْتَ

"الأيدى ثَلاثةٌ فَيَدُ الله العليا، وَيدُ المعطي التي تَليهَا، وَيَدُ السَّائِل السُّفلَى، فاعْطِ الفضلَ، ولا تَعْجزْ عن نفسك".

"الأَيدى ثَلاثَةٌ، يدُ الله العليا، ويدُ المعطى الوُسطى، وَيَدُ المُعْطَى السُّفلى".
