"عن معاذ بن جبلٍ قَالَ: دَخَلَ أبُو بَكْرٍ حَائِطًا وَإِذَا بِدُبْسِىٍّ فِى ظِلِّ شَجَرَةٍ، فَتَنَفَّسَ الصَّعْدَاءَ ثمَّ قَالَ: طُوبَى لَكَ يَا طَيْرُ، تَأكُلُ مِنَ الشَّجَرِ، وتَسْتَظِلُّ بِالشَّجَرِ، وَتَصيرُ إِلَى غَيْرِ حِسابٍ، يَا لَيْتَ أبَا بَكْرٍ مِثْلُك".
