Some faces on that day — they ˹faces˺ are used to represent the individuals in both instances — will be humbled, abject,
القرآن:٨٨:٢

وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ  

{وجوه يومئذٍ} عبر بها عن الذوات في الموضوعين {خاشعة} ذليلة.
