quran:68:20 –

And it became as though reaped.  

So by the morning it was like the darkness of night, in other words, black.
القرآن:٦٨:٢٠ –

فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَالصَّرِيمِ  

{فأصبحت كالصريم} كالليل الشديد الظلمة، أي سوداء.
