And from the evil of darkness when it settles  

and from the evil of darkness when it gathers, that is, ˹from˺ night when it becomes dark and the moon when it is absent,
القرآن:١١٣:٣

وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ  

{ومن شر غاسق إذا وقب} أي الليل إذا أظلم والقمر إذا غاب.
