"The Prophet [SAW] came to us and saw a man with wild hair. He said: 'Could this man not find anything with which to calm down his hair?'"  

النسائي:٥٢٣٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عِيسَى عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَتَانَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَرَأَى رَجُلاً ثَائِرَ الرَّأْسِ فَقَالَ أَمَا يَجِدُ هَذَا مَا يُسَكِّنُ بِهِ شَعْرَهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us and saw a man with disheveled hair, so he said, "Doesn't this man find anything to calm his hair?" And he saw a man with dirty clothes, so he said, "Doesn't this man find anything to clean his clothes?"  

الحاكم:٧٣٨٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمُرَادِيُّ وَبَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَرَأَى رَجُلًا ثَائِرَ الرَّأْسِ فَقَالَ «أَمَّا يَجِدُ هَذَا مَا يُسْكِنُ بِهِ شَعْرَهُ؟» وَرَأَى رَجُلًا وَسِخَ الثِّيَابِ فَقَالَ «أَمَّا يَجِدُ هَذَا مَا يُنَقِّي بِهِ ثِيَابَهُ؟»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم
