AHMAD 7022:
from ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather —
[Machine] A man asked the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I do not have any wealth, but I have an orphan under my care." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Every amount you spend from the wealth of the orphan, as long as you do not exceed the necessary expenses or waste the money, will be rewarded. And spending your wealth on him is considered an act of charity. Even if you were to mix your wealth with his, it would still be a means of virtue." Thereupon, a man named Husayn asked, expressing doubt.
