"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite sitting, and when he wanted to bow he would stand up for as long as it takes a person to recite forty verses."
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ قَامَ قَدْرَ مَا يَقْرَأُ إِنْسَانٌ أَرْبَعِينَ آيَةً
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in sitting position (while observing the Tahajjud prayer) and when he intended to bow, he would stand up and recite (for the duration in which) a man (ordinarily) recites forty verses.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ قَامَ قَدْرَ مَا يَقْرَأُ إِنْسَانٌ أَرْبَعِينَ آيَةً
“The Prophet ﷺ used to recite Qur’an sitting down, then when he wanted to bow he would stand up for as long as it takes a person to recite forty Verses.”
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ قَامَ قَدْرَ مَا يَقْرَأُ إِنْسَانٌ أَرْبَعِينَ آيَةً
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite sitting, and when he wanted to bow he would stand up for as long as it takes a person to recite forty verses." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1650)

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to recite (the Qur'an) while sitting and when he wanted to perform the rukoo (bowing), he would stand up after reciting about forty verses.
النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ قَامَ قَدْرَ مَا يَقْرَأُ إِنْسَانٌ أَرْبَعِينَ آيَةً
"عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ، وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ قَامَ بِقَدْرِ مَا يَقْرَأُ إِنْسَانٌ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً".
"عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي وَهُو قَاعِدٌ، فَإذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ قَامَ بِقَدْرِ مَا يَقْرَأُ إِنْسَانٌ أَرْبَعِينَ آيَةً".
