الكبرى للنسائي:٨١٥٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ «§لَا إِخَالُهُ يُتَّهَمُ عَلَيْنَا» قَالَ أَصَابَ عُثْمَانَ رُعَافٌ سَنَةَ الرُّعَافِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ «اسْتَخْلِفْ» فَقَالَ فَقَالُوا الزُّبَيْرُ فَقَالَ

«أَمَا وَاللهِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنْ كَانَ لَأَخْيَرَهُمْ وَأَحَبَّهُمْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»
