[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ passed away without appointing a successor." The Prophet ﷺ said, "If I were to appoint a successor, I would have appointed Abu Bakr and Umar."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٨٠٦٤أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَمْ يَسْتَخْلِفْ» قَالَتْ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْ كُنْتُ مُسْتَخْلِفًا أَحَدًا لَاسْتَخْلَفْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ»
