[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever drinks from a vessel made of gold or silver, then he is only swallowing fire into his stomach." Abd al-Aziz ibn Abi Rawwad contradicted this and narrated from Nafi' from Abu Hurairah that he did not mention gold and silver. The correct opinion regarding all of this is the hadith of Ayyub, and Allah knows best.  

الكبرى للنسائي:٦٨٥٢أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ بُرْدًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ شَرِبَ فِي إِنَاءِ ذَهَبٍ أَوْ إِنَاءِ فِضَّةٍ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ النَّارَ» خَالَفَهُ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادَ رَوَاهُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَوْلَهُ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَالصَّوَابُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ حَدِيثُ أَيُّوبَ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
