[Machine] "What the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate was not on a tray. He also said on another occasion that he didn't eat from a table, nor from a plate, nor from leavened bread."
«مَا أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى خِوَانٍ» وَقَالَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى وَلَا عَلَى مَائِدَةٍ وَلَا فِي سُكُرُّجَةٍ وَلَا خُبِزَ لَهُ مُرَقَّقٌ
The Prophet ﷺ never took his meals at a dining table, nor in small plates, and he never ate thin wellbaked bread. (The sub-narrator asked Qatada, "Over what did they use to take their meals?" Qatada said, "On leather dining sheets."

اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم عَلَى خِوَانٍ ولاَ أَكَلَ فِي سُكْرُجَةٍ ولاَ خُبِزَ لَهُ مُرَقَّقٌ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ فَعَلامَ كَانُوا يَأْكُلُونَ قَالَ عَلَى السُّفَرِ
