[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ witnessed and said, "Every child of yours is like this?" He said, "No." He said, "Then return him."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٦٤٧٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ وَهُوَ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ ابْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ بَشِيرٍ أَنَّهُ نَحَلَ ابْنَهُ نَحْلًا فَأَرَادَ

أَنْ يُشْهِدَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «كُلَّ وَلَدِكَ نَحَلْتَهُ مِثْلَ ذَا؟» قَالَ لَا قَالَ «فَارْدُدْهُ»

"Have you given a similar present to all of your children?" He said: "No." He said: "Then take (your present) back."

tirmidhi:1367 – Naṣr b. ʿAlī And Saʿīd b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman al-Makhzūmī al-Maʿná al-Wāḥid > Sufyān > al-Zuhrī > Ḥumayd b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Muḥammad b. al-Nuʿmān b. Bashīr Yuḥaddithān > al-Nuʿmān b. Bashīr

That his father gave a slave to a son of his. So he went to the Prophet ﷺ to have him witness it. He ﷺ said: 'Have you given a gift similar to this one to all of your sons?' He replied: 'No'. So he said: 'Then take him back.'"  

الترمذي:١٣٦٧ – حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ الْمَعْنَى الْوَاحِدُ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَعَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ يُحَدِّثَانِ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ

أَنَّ أَبَاهُ نَحَلَ ابْنًا لَهُ غُلاَمًا فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُشْهِدُهُ فَقَالَ أَكُلَّ وَلَدِكَ نَحَلْتَهُ مِثْلَ مَا نَحَلْتَ هَذَا قَالَ لاَ قَالَ فَارْدُدْهُ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ التَّسْوِيَةَ بَيْنَ الْوَلَدِ حَتَّى قَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ يُسَوِّي بَيْنَ وَلَدِهِ حَتَّى فِي الْقُبْلَةِ وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ يُسَوِّي بَيْنَ وَلَدِهِ فِي النُّحْلِ وَالْعَطِيَّةِ الذَّكَرُ وَالأُنْثَى سَوَاءٌ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمُ التَّسْوِيَةُ بَيْنَ الْوَلَدِ أَنْ يُعْطَى الذَّكَرُ مِثْلَ حَظِّ الأُنْثَيَيْنِ مِثْلَ قِسْمَةِ الْمِيرَاثِ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاقَ

his father gave him a gift of a slave, and he came to the Prophet ﷺ so that he could witness the gift. He said: “Have you given something to all of your children?” He said: “No.” He said: “Then take back (your gift).”
