[Machine] A man asked the Prophet SAW about a lost camel. He said, "What is the matter with you and the camel's supplies and shoes? Leave it to eat from the trees and return to the water until its owner comes." He was asked about a lost sheep, and he said, "It is yours or your brother's or the wolf's."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٥٧٧٠أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَرَبِيعَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الْمُنْبَعِثِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الْإِبِلِ فَقَالَ «مَا لَكَ وَلَهَا مَعَهَا سِقَاؤُهَا وَحِذَاؤُهَا دَعْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنَ الشَّجَرِ وَتَرِدُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهَا بَاغِيهَا» وَسُئِلَ عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الْغَنَمِ قَالَ «هِيَ لَكَ أَوْ لِأَخِيكَ أَوْ لِلذِّئْبِ»

[Machine] A man asked the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , about the lost camel. He said, "What is your concern with it? It has its water container and its shoes. It eats from the trees and satisfies its thirst until its owner finds it."
