Do not mix fresh dates and dry dates, and grapes and fresh dates for preparing Nabidh.  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَجْمَعُوا بَيْنَ الرُّطَبِ وَالْبُسْرِ وَبَيْنَ الزَّبِيبِ وَالتَّمْرِ نَبِيذًا  

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Yahya b. Abu Kathir through these two chains of transmitters but with a slight variation of words.  

أَنَّهُ قَالَ الرُّطَبَ وَالزَّهْوَ وَالتَّمْرَ وَالزَّبِيبَ  

The Prophet [SAW] said: "Do not combine dried dates with raisins, nor Az-Zahuw with ripe dates."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تَجْمَعُوا بَيْنَ التَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَلاَ بَيْنَ الزَّهْوِ وَالرُّطَبِ  

Do not mix fresh dates and dry dates, and grapes and fresh dates for preparing Nabidh. (Using translation from Muslim 1986c)   

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَا تَجْمَعُوا بَيْنَ الرُّطَبِ وَالْبُسْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَالتَّمْرِ نَبِيذًا  

“Do not combine fresh dates and unripe dates, or raisins and dates; rather make Nabidh with each one of them on its own.”* (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3397)   

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَجْمَعُوا بَيْنَ التَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَلَا بَيْنَ الزَّهْوِ وَالرُّطَبِ وَانْبِذُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا عَلَى حِدَةٍ»
