"O Messenger of Allah what do you think about mastigures?" He said: "I do not eat them but I do not say that they arte Haram." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4315)

Malik related to me from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Abdullah ibn Umar that a man called the Messenger of Allah and said, "Messenger of Allah, what do you think about lizards?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I do not eat them, and I do not forbid them."  

مالك:٥٤-١١وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَجُلاً نَادَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا تَرَى فِي الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَسْتُ بِآكِلِهِ وَلاَ بِمُحَرِّمِهِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the lizard. He replied, "I do not eat it, nor do I declare it forbidden."
