malik:54-11Mālik > ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

Malik related to me from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Abdullah ibn Umar that a man called the Messenger of Allah and said, "Messenger of Allah, what do you think about lizards?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I do not eat them, and I do not forbid them."  

مالك:٥٤-١١وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَجُلاً نَادَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا تَرَى فِي الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَسْتُ بِآكِلِهِ وَلاَ بِمُحَرِّمِهِ
