[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saw a shaded man while traveling and said, "Fasting during travel is not from righteousness." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said, "This hadith of Shu'bah is authentic."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٢٥٨٢أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى وَخَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَسَنٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلًا قَدْ ظُلِّلَ عَلَيْهِ فِي السَّفَرِ فَقَالَ «لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدِيثُ شُعْبَةَ هَذَا هُوَ الصَّحِيحُ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey and saw a crowd of people, and a man was being shaded (by them). He asked, "What is the matter?" They said, "He (the man) is fasting." The Prophet ﷺ said, "It is not righteousness that you fast on a journey."

the Messenger of Allah saw a man who was being shaded on a journey. He said: "It is not righteousness to fast when traveling."

The Prophet ﷺ saw a man who had been put in the shade and saw a crowd of people around him (in the course of a journey). He said: Fasting while on journey is not part of righteousness.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلاً يُظَلَّلُ عَلَيْهِ وَالزِّحَامُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ
