[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Witr prayer is one unit (rak'ah) performed at the end of the night." Yahya ibn Sa'id and Muhammad ibn Ja'far disagreed with him.  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٤٠٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوِتْرُ رَكْعَةٌ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ» خَالَفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ
