muslim:175 – Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah > ʿAlī b. Mushir > ʿAbd al-Malik > ʿAṭāʾ > Abū Hurayrah And Laqad Rāh Nazlah Ukhrá

" And certainly he saw him in another descent" (al-Qur'an, Iiii. 13) imply that he saw Gabriel.
