" He who emancipates a portion in a slave, he should (secure full) freedom for him from his property."  

مسلم:١٥٠٣d – وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ

مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شَقِيصًا مِنْ مَمْلُوكٍ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ مِنْ مَالِهِ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ {مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شَقِيصًا مِنْ عَبْدٍ }  

nasai-kubra:4949 – Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná > Muʿādh b. Hishām from my father > Qatādah > Bashīr b. Nahīk > Abū Hurayrah > Nabī Allāh ﷺ

[Machine] "Whoever frees a slave from his own wealth has indeed freed him if he possesses wealth."
