Malik related to me from Yahya ibn Said that Sulayman ibn Yasar informed him that Abdullah ibn Abbas ibn Abi Rabia al-Makhzumi said, "Umar ibn al-Khattab gave me orders about the slaves of Quraysh and we flogged some of the slave-girls of the muslim lands fifty times each for fornication."
قَالَ أَمَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فِي فِتْيَةٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ فَجَلَدْنَا وَلاَئِدَ مِنْ وَلاَئِدِ الإِمَارَةِ خَمْسِينَ خَمْسِينَ فِي الزِّنَا
[Machine] Umar ibn al-Khattab commanded me regarding some young men from the Quraish, so we lashed them with fifty lashes each for committing adultery.
أَمَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فِي فِتْيَةٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ فَجَلَدْنَا وَلَائِدَ مِنْ وَلَائِدِ الْإِمَارَةِ خَمْسِينَ خَمْسِينَ فِي الزِّنَا
"عن عبدِ اللَّه بن عياشِ بنِ أَبى ربيعةَ المخزومى قال: أمرنى عمرُ ابن الخطاب في فِتْيَةٍ من قريشٍ فَجلدنا ولائد من وَلَائِد الإِمَارَةِ خمسينَ خمسينَ في الزِّنَا".
