"I heard the Messenger of Allah (saas) say: 'The supplication of a father reaches the Veil (i.e. the place of repentance).'"
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَتْنَا حَبَابَةُ ابْنَةُ عَجْلاَنَ عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ حَفْصٍ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أُمِّ حَكِيمٍ بِنْتِ وَدَاعٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّةِ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ دُعَاءُ الْوَالِدِ يُفْضِي إِلَى الْحِجَابِ
[Machine] Habbaba bint Ajlan narrated to me that my mother Hafsa narrated to me from Safiyyah bint Jariyy from Umm Hakim bint Wada' who said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "The supplication of a parent leads to the veil being lifted."
