“What is this ring?” He said: “It is for Wahinah.”* He said: “Take it off, for it will only increase you in weakness.”

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلاً فِي يَدِهِ حَلْقَةٌ مِنْ صُفْرٍ فَقَالَ مَا هَذِهِ الْحَلْقَةُ قَالَ هَذِهِ مِنَ الْوَاهِنَةِ قَالَ انْزِعْهَا فَإِنَّهَا لاَ تَزِيدُكَ إِلاَّ وَهْنًا

"عَن عِمْرانَ بْنِ حُصَينٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلًا فىِ يَدِهِ حَلَقَةٌ مِنْ صُفرٍ فَقَالَ: مَا هذِه الْحَلقةُ؟ فَقَالَ: هِى مِن الموَاهِنَةِ، قَالَ: دَعْهَا فَمَا تَزيِدكُ إلَّا وَهَنًا".
