The Prophet said: "Whoever seeks knowledge for a reason other than the sake of Allah, or intends it for a purpose other than for the sake of Allah, let him take his place in hell."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ طَلَبَ الْعِلْمَ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ أَوْ أَرَادَ بِهِ غَيْرَ اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever learns knowledge for other than (the sake of) Allah, or intends by it other than Allah, then let him take his seat in the Fire."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ عِلْمًا لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ أَوْ أَرَادَ بِهِ غَيْرَ اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever allies himself with someone other than his allies, he should take his place in the fire."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَوَلَّى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»
The Prophet said: "Whoever seeks knowledge for a reason other than the sake of Allah, or intends it for a purpose other than for the sake of Allah, let him take his place in hell." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 258)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ عِلْمًا لِغَيْرِ اللهِ أَوْ أَرَادَ بِهِ غَيْرَ اللهِ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»
"مَن طَلَبَ العِلْمَ لِغَيرِ اللهِ، أَوْ أَرَادَ بِهِ غَيرَ الله، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّار".
"مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ عِلمًا لِغَيرِ اللهِ، أَوْ أَرَادَ بِهِ غَيرَ اللهِ فَليَتَبَوَّأ مَقْعَدَهُ مِن النَّارِ".
