عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ رَأَى جِنَازَةً يُسْرِعُونَ بِهَا قَالَ لِتَكُنْ عَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةُ

أحمد:١٩٦٩٥ – حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ زَمَنَ الْحَجَّاجِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ رَأَى جِنَازَةً يُسْرِعُونَ بِهَا فَقَالَ لِتَكُنْ عَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةُ  

ahmad:19612 – Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar > Shuʿbah > Layth > Abū Burdah from his father

[Machine] Indeed, some people passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a funeral procession, hurriedly carrying it. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May tranquility be upon you."
