“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘This day is an ‘Eid (festival) which Allah has ordained for the Muslims. Whoever comes to Friday (prayer), let him take a bath and if he has perfume then let him put some on. And upon you (I urge to use) is the tooth stick.”
رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمُ عِيدٍ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ فَمَنْ جَاءَ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ وَإِنْ كَانَ طِيبٌ فَلْيَمَسَّ مِنْهُ وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ibn as-Sabbaq that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in a jumua, "Muslims! Allah has made this day a festival day (id) so do ghusl, and it will not harm whoever has perfume to apply some of it, and use a tooth-stick . "
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي جُمُعَةٍ مِنَ الْجُمَعِ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ عِيدًا فَاغْتَسِلُوا وَمَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ طِيبٌ فَلاَ يَضُرُّهُ أَنْ يَمَسَّ مِنْهُ وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ
"إِنَّ هذا يومُ عيد، جعله اللَّه عيدًا للمسلمين، فمن جاءَ إِلى يومِ الجمعة فليغتسل، وإِن كان. طيبٌ فَليَمَسَّ منه، وعليكم بالسِّواك".
"يَا مَعْشَر المُسْلِمِينَ: مَنْ جَاءَ مِنْكُمُ الجُمُعَةَ، فَليَغْتَسِلْ، وَإنْ وَجَد طِيبًا فَلَا عَلَيْهِ أن يَمسَّ مِنْهُ، وَعَليْكُمْ بِهَذَا السِّوَاكِ".
