ذِكْرُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ؓ

ibnhibban:7053 – Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Abū Khaythamah > Hāshim b. al-Qāsim > And Rqāʾ b. ʿUmar > ʿUbaydullāh b. Abū Yazīd > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered the bathroom and I prepared ablution for him. When he came out, he asked, "Who performed ablution for me?" They said, "Ibn Abbas." The Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allah grant him understanding of the religion."  

ابن حبّان:٧٠٥٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي يَزِيدَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

أَتَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْخَلَاءَ فَوَضَعْتُ لَهُ وُضُوءًا فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ قَالَ «مَنْ وَضَعَ هَذَا»؟ قَالُوا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ فَقِّهْهُ»
