ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ ؓ أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ

ibnhibban:6863 – al-Ḥusayn b. Isḥāq al-Aṣbahānī Bi-al-Karaj > ʿAbdullāh b. Saʿīd al-Kindī Abū Saʿīd al-Ashaj > ʿUqbah b. Khālid > Shuʿbah > al-Jurayrī > Abū Naḍrah > Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī

that Abu Bakr said: "Am I not the most deserving of it among the people, am I not the first to become Muslim, am I not the person of such and such, am I not the person of such and such." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3667)   

ابن حبّان:٦٨٦٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ بِالْكَرَجِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ

أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ «أَلَسْتُ أَحَقَّ النَّاسِ بِهَذَا الْأَمْرِ؟ أَلَسْتُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ؟ أَلَسْتُ صَاحِبَ كَذَا؟ أَلَسْتُ صَاحِبَ كَذَا؟ »
