ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ قَوْلَ أَبِي زَيْدٍ عَلَى كَتِفِهِ أَرَادَ بِهِ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ

ibnhibban:6301 – ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad al-Azdī > Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > Rawḥ b. ʿUbādah > Shuʿbah > Simāk b. Ḥarb > Jābir b. Samurah

[Machine] "He heard Jabir ibn Samurah saying, 'I saw the seal between the shoulders of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ resembling the size of a pigeon's egg, its color similar to the color of his body.'"  

ابن حبّان:٦٣٠١ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ «رَأَيْتُ الْخَاتَمَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ كَتِفَيِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِثْلَ بَيْضَةِ الْحَمَامَةِ لَوْنُهَا لَوْنُ جَسَدِهِ»

[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and between his shoulders was a seal of prophethood like the size of a dove's egg.
