ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ ثَانٍ يُصَرِّحُ بِصِحَّةِ مَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ

ibnhibban:596 – ʿUmar b. Muḥammad al-Hamadhānī > Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Bazīʿ > Bishr b. al-Mufaḍḍal > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Isḥāq > Saʿīd al-Maqburī > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade sitting on the pathways. They said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are unable to do that and cannot bear it." He said, "If not, then fulfill its rights." They asked, "What are its rights, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Responding to greetings, offering blessings to the one who sneezes when he praises Allah, lowering the gaze, and guiding the way."  

ابن حبّان:٥٩٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمَذَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَنْ تَجْلِسُوا بِأَفْنِيَةِ الصُّعُدَاتِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا لَا نَسْتَطِيعُ ذَلِكَ وَلَا نُطِيقُهُ قَالَ «إِمَّا لَا فَأَدُّوا حَقَّهَا» قَالُوا وَمَا حَقُّهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «رَدُّ التَّحِيَّةِ وَتَشْمِيتُ الْعَاطِسِ إِذَا حَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَغَضُّ الْبَصَرِ وَإِرْشَادُ السَّبِيلِ»
