ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ يَحْجُمَهَا الرَّجُلُ عِنْدَ الضَّرُورَةِ، إِذَا كَانَ الصَّلَاحُ فِيهِمَا مَوْجُودًا

ibnhibban:5602 – Ibn Qutaybah > Yazīd b. Mawhab > al-Laythī > Abū al-Zubayr > Jābir

Umm Salamah asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ permission for getting herself cupped. He commanded Abu Tibah to cup her. The transmitter said: I think he was her foster-brother or a boy not yet of age. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4105)  

ابن حبّان:٥٦٠٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

«أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ اسْتَأْذَنَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْحِجَامَةِ فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَبَا طَيْبَةَ أَنْ يَحْجُمَهَا وَقَالَ حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَانَ أَخَاهَا مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةَ أَوْ غُلَامًا لَمْ يَحْتَلِمْ»

I think he (Abu Taiba) was her faster brother or a young boy before entering upon the adolescent period.

It was narrated from Jabir that Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for permission to be cupped, and the Prophet ﷺ told Abu Taibah to cup her.  

ابن ماجة:٣٤٨٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

الحاكم:٧٤٧٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

«أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ اسْتَأْذَنَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْحِجَامَةِ فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَبَا طَيْبَةَ أَنْ يَحْجُمَهَا» قَالَ حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «وَكَانَ أَخُوهَا مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ أَوْ غُلَامًا لَهُ لَمْ يَحْتَلِمْ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُعلى شرط مسلم
